I confess that I think the so called "good old days" were always the days just before you became aware. When I got into the biz, probably a generation ahead of you, I heard a lot of lamenting that the "good old days" were just back there a little. I'm generally inclined to think that the day is the day and some are good, others, let's just forget about it and move along.
